State Bank of India planned to open new branches in and around Tiruchirapalli. The expected place of opening of new branches as follows:
1. No.1 Toll Gate,
2. Siruganur, Chennai Road, Trichy
3. Thiruvanaikoil
4. Thillai Nagar,
5. Ariyamangalam
It has opened new branches in Srinivasa Nagar, Kumaran Nagar, Khajamalai, Bharathidasan Uniersity, Edamalaipatti pudur. It is more convenient for the people those who are residing in the above area. Because of the branch expansion SBI going to open some more new branches in Tiruchirapalli Dist.
